Climate chambers are units that control humidity, temperature and light conditions over defined periods of time. Climate chambers can be constant climate or variable climate. Variable climate chambers are designed to dynamically regulate conditions over time, which is useful in stress testing of materials or accelerated aging tests. Constant climate chambers maintain temperature and humidity conditions constant and uniform inside the chamber over a defined period of time, making them ideal for stability testing, photostability testing or shelf-life testing. Climate chambers use air preheating technologies (APT.line being the most efficient) in which the air is fed into the chamber from a perimeter channel located between the inner wall and the insulation, where it is heated or cooled before re-entering, and returns to the usable space through multiple points distributed across both side walls instead of a single outlet. In this way, the air circulates uniformly and gently within the usable space, creating precise and homogeneous climate conditions even with fully loaded chambers, and the double-sided airflow keeps temperature and humidity constant throughout the test area under full load.
